Mck Linky

There’s a great new “linky” service available and I wanted to let you know about it. It’s called MckLinky – www.mcklinky.com. After realizing the need for a new, reliable linky capability, Brent Riggs and MckMama got together to create a free, easy to use linky service for all their blog friends.

MckLinky is a free link list feature that allows you to do include lists of other blog links like MckMama does on Not Me! Monday. You can use MckLinky any time you want your blog readers to leave a list of links on your blog. It’s simple, reliable, free...and loads of MckFun!

Spinning

I remember being a kid and getting on a tire swing and spinning. Feeling free, and letting my hair out.......also the little bit queasiness you get from it also. When I took the kids to the park on Saturday, they had these little chair things they can sit in and it spins around with their body weight. They LOVED it. They had so much fun spinning.
Kassidy went first......she kept wanting to go faster and faster. She is so much like her Dad.

Joey was there to cheer her on, only so he could have her turn.

Joey was ready to go, he also wanted to go faster. A little daredevil he is.

Kimy was last and I think the most fun to watch. She put her head back and let her hair down. She was giggling the whole time.

She was happy going fast.

And smiled the whole time, this big huge grin.
P.S. My Kidney stone procedure went well and it is gone. Yeah! All that worry for nothing.

Not me Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I am not typing this Sunday evening, and posting it then, because that would mean it is not Monday. Nope not me! I am not doing this Sunday because I am going in to have a kidney stone removed. Nope. I am not doing tis because my life has not been inconvienced enough by said stone, and I am not tired of waiting for it to pass. Nope not I. I am also not a little scared of said procedure, why? Because I am a big girl, and nothing scares me. Nope not me!

I also did not take the kids to the park with a friend on Saturday and forget to put sunscreen on. Nope not me. Because if I had done that, then I would be looking like a lobster. Also it would me that I acutally did something for myself also and was not busy taking care of the the kids. Nope not I, I would never do anything like that.

I also did not allow my teenage daughter to sleep in on Saturday until 11am. Nope, I did not pack up the little kids and leave the house at 9am and not even wake said teenager. I would never do anything like that. I am never that nice. Nope not me! I am a mean Mom.

I hope you all have a wonderful Monay and I will post some pictures on Tuesday. If I am out of bed and moving around.

My little Spiderman

Yesterday we went to spent the day with my good friend Sheila and her kids. We spent part of the afternoon at a park by here house. The kids played in the water and sand, then we made our way over to the playground. Much to Joey's delight they had a rope climbing structure. He jumped right on telling me he was Spider-Man. I have caught him holding spider in the hopes of turning into Spider-Man.
Concentrating hard on the task at hand.

So many ways to go!

Making sure that I am watching him.

working his way through the maze of ropes.

Looking to see how far up he was.

"Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man"

So close......just a little bit more to go.

" Finally made it to the top!"

Joey at the top of the structure. He was very proud.

True Love?????????

This is Kimy....my youngest. Look at her so sweet and innocent and cute. I love this little munchkin. She is my snuggle bug. Today we went to the park with my wonderful friend Vanessa. Vanessa and I met online and her son Will is 6 days younger than the twins. Kimy is always saying she is going to marry Will and have lots of babies. It also happens that Will says the same thing. Today they played together for a long time. Happy as could be.
Kimy ready to go on the monkey bars. Will is right behind her.

Will and Kimy hanging out!

Will and Kimy. I must say that they make a cute couple. Another plus is Vanessa and I are great friends so having them as in laws would not be bad at all.

Joey's tooth is missing......

Today, just a few minutes ago in fact, Joey lost his first tooth. It is hard to believe that he is growing up so fast. He also finally did something before Kimy did.
Joey proudly showing off his missing tooth.

Another beautiful day!

Today has been another beautiful day here in Oregon. The sun is shining and there is no rain in sight. So we spent the day at the park of course. What else are you to do on a day like this. We meet up with my friends Mandie and Leah and their kids. Everyone had a good time playing and running in the fountain.
Kassidy enjoying the sun.

Mandie and her daycare girl Tayla, she was waving hi to everyone.

Kimy trying to give Dylan a wet hug......he was not going to let that happen.

Dylan trying to hide from me. I think the pole is to thin.

Joey enjoying the water.

Kimy making a run through it.

My nephew Thomas, enjoying the water. He was so excited to tell me about it.

My other nephew Jack.......I just love those squishy cheeks.

Me getting in my baby snuggles. He feel asleep in my arms. I love being able to hold a baby, but I also love not having to change diapers.

Summer!!!!

We are all so glad that summer is here. Time to play at the park! On Tuesday we went to the "Water Park" as the kids call in for some fun in the some. We played, ran in the water fountain and then went to the Library for some books for our summer reading.
Kimy has mastered the monkey bars. She may be part monkey.
Joey going down the twisty pole. There is great concentration that goes into the whole process.

I love the concentration in her face. She works so hard to get all the way across.

There was swinging also.....lots of swinging. They always ask me to push them higher. I guess the higher they go the more fun it is.

Meghan is pushing Kimy and Dylan. At least I was able to rope her into doing it. My back was killing me due to a wonderful Kidney stone. I can't wait for it to pass.

Kassidy and Kimy enjoying the water after lunch. I never got as warm as it was suppose to. They had a blast either way.

Joey running through the water. They all love being in the water.

Kimy running though the fountain.

Joey showing me his ninja poses.......he always makes me laugh. We are looking forward to many more days like this. Also going to more parks, and being with our friends.

potluck

This is just a potluck of pictures....taken around the house as the kids are cleaning their rooms. Joey was first.....he is the first room I came to.
Just watching Oreo look at the window. Oreo loves this window.
Kassidy and Kimy working on their disaster area. This was taken minutes before a fight broke out where Kassidy said Kimy was not helping.

All the while said teenager was putting her clothes away. She saw me and the camera and ran to the closet.

Closed the doors and this was all I could see of her.........by the way I love the orange nail polish.
Until I went to the other side and snapped this picture......she was trying not to laugh.

After about 5 minutes of me begging and I mean begging, she allowed me to take this shot. I am not to sure why this beautiful girl will not let me take her picture. I love them all and am glad they are all mine.

A Day at the Zoo!

So Chris and I decided to take the kids to the Zoo today. What a fun day we had and the weather was perfect. We had some clouds in the morning, but the sun finally came out. Chris and I had gone grocery shopping before, so we got lunchables for lunch. It was easy and yummy.
Chris, Kimy, Kassidy, Meghan and Joey checking out the goats when we first walked in.
While at the Zoo we ran into our wonderful friends Leah, Thomas (Check out his new backpack)

Jason and Jack. Don't you just want to squeeze those chubby cheeks.

Joey had to see the bats.....we got there right at feeding time. He loved watching them eat.

He also loved seeing the crocodiles....he said they are made of stone, all because they wouldn't move.

Got to love the hippos.

Meghan enjoying, as much as a teenager does the Zoo train ride.

This is her lifeline to the "real" world.

Joey enjoying the train ride. He spent 95% of the ride like this.

Kassidy snuggling with Daddy on the train.

Kimy loved waving at everyone she went by.
We all had a blast, but were very tired when we got home today. We are all looking forward to many more days like this as summer progresses. Maybe the next time we will go to OMSI.
