This is Meghan and she is the oldest, she is also a big time lover of the monkeys. It is her biggest dream to become the next Jane Goodall. She is even going to an option middle school that focuses on science. I love that at 12 she knows what she wants to do with her life. She wants to go to school to become a zoologist. I know that may change, but I doubt it, she is pretty headstrong. She amazes me with her passion on a daily basis. Her newest project is turning her room into a rain forest, complete with monkey and other animals. Here are some pictures of her working on her room. I will post the finished product when we are all done.
Here is one corner of her room. She has done most of the work herself and has done a great job. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it is all done. Everything is made out of butcher and construction paper. She is pretty creative.
Another picture of the same section. She has even colored ants on the trees. She is going to cover the ceiling with leaves and glow in the dark stars. I love that she has put a lot of details that would be in the rain forest. He younger sisters and brother love going in there and looking at it also. They have yet to ask for the same thing, but they love her rain forest.

Did Rachel tell you that I went and saw Jane Goodall speak when she was here in San Diego? She was incredible, I understand Meghan's fascination :)
